happy halloweeeeeeeeeeen!!...man i remember when i was in softball..we had this one chant we used to always sing whenever one of our teammates was up to bat.."hit 'em in the left knee, hit 'em in the right knee, hit 'em in the weeeeeeeenie the hooooooooome run!"...how someone ever came up with that one i don't know...but in girl's softball?..hahah must've been for shitz & giggles...anyways..so it's freakin halloween...and i'm dressing up..hehe i haven't dressed up since that halloween party we went to junior yr at uci..so this year i've decided to be this anime school girl from evangelion..i've got the blue hair, blue skirt & tie, white shirt..white knee highs..and the mary-janes to finish the outfit off...man..this is going to be funny..i think the blue hair's going to be the trippiest part..hehe..i did want to be fayeeee from cowboy bebop..but after consulting w/ jevon, he suggested that i keep that costume for louie..hahah..dork!..so yah, tonight's lil shindig should be interesting...yahoo!!!.....so anyways..i had lunch w/ my ate and dad today..my ate wants to do this whole family tree thing about our family and make it into a book..i guess to have our very own family history book..should be cool though..i mean, just the other day i was talking to my dad about this stuff..he was tracing back his lineage and it's pretty dope..i've got some irish & italian blood down in my family line somewhere..my last name used to start with an H, but because of wwII they had to take the H off..pretty crazy stuff..so i'm kinda looking forward to learning more about the familia..cuz yah..i tend to take these things for granted sometimes..and it's something that i need to pay more attention to..i mean, on a serious note..my parents are getting older..and it's just weird to think of them growing old..i guess it's this whole ideal that we have where we see our parents as like superhuman...they shouldn't get sick, they never get old, they'll always be there...so it's hard seeing my youngest sister having troubles with them..i mean, i know when me and ate were her age we went through the same thing w/ them..but i guess since i've gotten older, i don't see the reason to fight....it's not like i never argue w/ them...there's always those little issues that they'll never understand and i'll never understand...but what can you do?..despite all the conflict..we're family..whew..don't want to get all mushy and junk so i'll stop...just a little ramble..anyways...have a safe (haha i originally wrote sape...must be fobbing out time=P)...and wonderful halloween weekend!!!!!!

oh how i hate being sick...i called in sick yesterday and today i came in...silly me thought that maybe being in the work environment would get me better..ummm..no...in fact it seems to have made me worse..being all stuffed up and congested in my cube is crappy..i don't think any of the thera-flu, sudafed, tea, or soups that i've constantly been taking since friday have helped..i think i've become immune to it all...well maybe the thera-flu helped in those brief minutes of when i could actually breath through both my nostrils..and then bam..the clarity disappeared and i was back to feeling like that dude in the nyquil commercial..blahhhh..too much complaining and not enough appreciation in this blog huh?..well, for starters..i am very grateful for my health...it may not be the best these past few days..but overall, i should be happy i'm a healthy 23-year-old...as for the other goings on or going ons? in my life..everything's been dandy/peachy keen?/grrrrrreat...so nothing to think badly about..i guess every once in a while i need a dose of reality and all the things that i should be thankful for come in to light..besides sleeping all weekend and being a drugged up lump for boogerlou this weekend..it was nice to see the familia on saturday...haha even though i tried to stay like 5 feet away from everyone so not to get them sick, it was still a good night...gosh i never got to talk about the etta james concert me and louie saw at h.o.b. huh?..all i can say is seeing etta live was dope!..this woman is pure soul..so if there's ever a venue where this lady is at, i highly recommend it...and having her close the night off with "at last" was so cooool! it was like the cherry topping to an already perfect sundae..i dunno, i just thought she performed very well..haha and although she performed numerous sexual innuendos during her sets, it was all gravy..i got nothing but love for the lady=)...

helloooooooooooo world!..work has been so crazy lately that i haven't had time to blog in awhile..so anyways..i noticed last friday while i was driving on the 5, stuck in bumper to bumper traffic...that music can easily sooth the mind after having a hectic work week..and that watching other people drive and their faces/actions/reactions is so humorous that it makes the drive in traffic so much better..granted, i shouldn't stare at other people cuz it's rude and i shouldn't have been looking at people driving in the opposite direction because it made me pay less attention to my own driving..but it was very much enjoyed none-the-less..i've always had a habit of observing other people..i mean, you let the world pass you by and soon you'll forget to notice the little things that make life so interesting..there was a plethora (i like that word=P) of people i got to observe...like the woman yapping into her boyfriend/husband/brother's ear while he seemed to just zone her out..yet she was so excited about whatever she was saying...or the truck driver who was happily chatting away on his cell phone while driving a freakin big rig!!..or the mid-life crisis dude sporting his new slk whatever benz..and the chick who seemed to be hating the world because she was stuck in traffic..constantly hitting her steering wheel..y'know w/ that agitated look we all get when we're stuck in traffic..hehe..i dunno..i guess it made the drive funner..if that makes sense..anyways..the weekend is here and usually i'd be jumping for joy...but today i can't bring myself to it...ha..maybe it's because this morning i woke up with one side of my nose clogged and my throat has that lumpy feeling in it...dangit!..sick on the weekend...this sucks..i feel so tired right now..i knew i shouldn't have stopped drinking tea in the mornings...as of today i will continue my tea party everyday now..or at least try too..since i read on cnn that tea has now been proven to actually build up the immune system...so kudos to tea..well the upcoming year seems to be full of hopeful traveling ideas..like another girls weekend in chicago to see catmo...a cruise to mexico...a week in cancun or somewhere...and in the summer of 2005...yes i said 2005...a trip to europe..c'mon people..start saving that $50/paycheck or $50/month...whichever seems easier to do...so we can travel the world=)....ooooh i'm so excited..hmm on a side note.. man...i think i'm becoming a smallville addict..it has become my little guilty pleasure..haha..ahhhhhhh how i hate to be sick...i'm such the biggest baby when i am....boo!
