blah. i really truly hate fake people. okay hate is a strong word. i dislike, despise, abhor them. how's that? why say something to someone or act a certain way to someone, yet when they're not there, you do/say exactly the opposite of what you just told them? no need to put on an act if you're really not that way. i mean, if you have a problem or anything concerning me freaking say it to my face. don't tell me one thing and then act like everything's hunkydory. because you give me the wrong impression about things, and it just aggravates me to hear that things aren't as you say they are. sorry just need to vent.

blah. so it's been almost 2 months since my old boss left and i was given a new one. we've worked together before and so i figured okay shouldn't be so bad. totally different personality from my old boss, we got along great. this one..i dunno. it's like she'll say one thing, but totally do the opposite instead. she keeps saying she hates micromanaging, that as long as we do our work then everything's fine (that's how all our old bosses have always been). yet for some reason she doesn't seem to practice what she preaches.

i notice more now that everytime she walks past my cubicle she makes a quick glance at my computer screen. i've heard that when i leave for the day she walks over to my cubicle looking at what i'm working on. she'll subtly ask me about something that has to do with another co-worker, but really she's trying to find out more information about what it is that i'm doing (not sure if that made sense). i mean, even when my old boss left she even told me to be careful with so-and-so. yeah i know, it just sucks cuz you always want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. but man, when they keep doing things opposite of what they tell you. pshh, no respect. this is why, no me gusta la gente fake. haha. you treat me that way, fine i'll do the same right back at you.

anways. onto more exciting news. UMAMI! not you-mahm-mee..oooh-mah-mee. it's a supposed 5th taste, that of "good taste" when eating.. i think they said it's also a 5 taste for msg, haha go figure!

finally it's thursday. can't deal with stupid drama at work. just want to go home now and eat some golden spoon. oooh or yogurtland! that place is freaking awesome. no it's not a pinkberry or fiore or whatever. you actually get a choice of over 10 different flavors. and then you can choose whatever flavors you want and whatever toppings you want. it's all do it yourself. ha, you get charged at the end when they weigh your creation=P. last time i wanted to try all the flavors to see what i liked. was good in the beginning until they all started to melt together..blehh..hehe but anyways yeah, mucho yum-o! check it out. it's right next to taiko..mmm taiko.

i wonder if i've reused my quotes. i had picked another one before this, and the more i kept reading it i kept thinking i already used it. must've been that good of a quote=P. this one seemed pretty cool too. i sift and sift until i finally find one that makes sense to me at that moment.

weekend went. was pretty productive, thought i could do better but oh well. there's always next weekend. eek, this weekend is already ate & jason's baby shower..hehe better get cracking on that one. hopefully all the paperwork is good to go for our clubhouse. gosh, you'd think that it would just be easy to sign our names up, pay the fees, and there you go..we get to use our clubhouse for that day. but no, of course there's all this mumbo jumbo paperwork we have to fill it for liability issues. makes sense i guess, just the process is such a pain in the arse!

so fifi and i started two movies yesterday that we have yet to finish. mainly because we had to leave or run errands and stuff..but so far they're both pretty good. click & last kiss. man, we finally realized the wonders of "on demand" on the tv..ahhhhhhhhh so many movies now to choose from! hehe it's pretty cool, but soooo distracting. at least we'll get our moneys worth watching all these movies. well that, and my eyes will probably fall off from all the tv i've been watching!

okay for those few of you who watch so you think you can dance..spoiler ahead...hehe....yay sabra won!!!!!!!!!! i like watching so you think you can dance way more than american idol. i wasn't able to watch the finale of it on thursday and tried to stay away from articles that would say who won. finally caught up yesterday and was so happy sabra won..heheh she just seems so down to earth and such a natural dancer. yeah, that show is entertaining for me. the choreography that they do is freaking awesome! man, i wish i took up dancing as a kid..haha.

hehe i get a word of the day sent to me everyday..this was one from wednesday..thought it was kinda funny/silly so i'll quote it for today. i wonder what foreigners must think when they see words like this in actual print. man they must think we're lazy, yet entertaining right? "man i'm hungry, jeechet?" that reminds me of chet from weird science, haha man that guy looked nasty!

so anyways, random thought...stars are pretty awesome. not hollywood stars, the actual star-stars in the sky! when i was younger i was really into that kind of stuff. well i guess more just the star-gazing aspect. i think it was all those field trips we took to the griffith park observatory back then. i always enjoyed the star show in that huge auditorium, nix the weird narration. haha. i thought that some day maybe i'd be an astronomer. never happened as you can see. i did want to take the astronomy classes they had at uci. but people who had taken it always recommended against it saying it was so boring. now i wish i hadn't listened. i think mainly because i always wanted to look through that huge telescope that uci had. oooooh nevermind lookie what i found! yay that means i can visit during those times. woohoo, and i WILL y'know=P.

i think i got all interested in it lately because of the meteor show that's going to happen this sunday. pretty cool i think. i kinda want to just sit out on the swing and stare up into the sky that night. that'd be nice and relaxing. hehe maybe pour a glass of wine while i'm at it=P. let's see if fifi will join me now..aww romantical. haha.

thank goodness it's friday. though i must say that august seems to be moving by quite fast. can't believe it's almost the end of summer! need to go to the beach again. it's always nice and relaxing to be by the water, hopefully the beach isn't too crowded though.
