oh my gosh it's freaking hot...i'm melting!..so we had a blackout at work today..and umm yah i just happened to be splat dab on the toilet..all by my lonesome..yay?..the bathroom got all dark..lucky i was just doing a #1 since #2 didn't wanna happen..i was like..ummm, wipe..get up and gooooooooooo!..hahah...and freaking since we have automated toilets, the toilet wouldn't flush..so when the backup generators kicked in, i had to go back and flush..ahhhh embarassing..well i should be lucky that i wasn't in mid-dump i guess..hahah..

ahhh tiring weekend..spent the weekend in sf for lou's cousin's wedding...congratulations again to maryann & landro!!!! beautiful wedding..but man, it was africa hot up north too!..we went to vallejo yesterday and it was 104!!..and the ac in the house wasn't working..man..heheh but it was so funny..all the fans were going on, you had the filipino food, boyfriend sleeping b/c he couldn't handle the heat & all of the sudden i felt like i was in the p.i. at a family party for some reason..funny.

ooh so i got my pics developed..and tada here's some cakes that me & tinzers learned to decorate!


1st cake..yah yah, i suck at writing.


2nd cake: had no one to give it to..hehe so i gave it to the work peoples=P


3rd cake: heheh couldn't fit anniversary b/c i forgot how much space the roses needed..but that was our last cake we decorated in course I.

mmm i'm making myself hungry thinking of the chocolate cake. you know what i really loooove. cold chocolate cake/cupcakes..like the ones that've been in the fridge overnight..i really like the texture of it and how yummy it tastes. weird? i dunno, but it's freaking bomb!!mmmmm...drool. ahhh i wanna make a cake right now..but too hot to use the oven. our apt get's so hot when the oven's on. oh well..next time.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank goodness it's friday..been so busy this week that i haven't been able to check all the links boyfriend keeps emailing me..hahah jk! so yah, i'm so grateful for the weekend=). happy belated bdays to kuya and jovan! woohoo lolo's hahah.

so for my cousin's bday last week we met up with them at the oc fair. and i was so sad at how little i was able to eat there..haha not that i didn't want to..it's just, having to celebrate 3 birthdays in one day is a lot of food to take in=P. but i was able to eat my grilled corn and chocolate covered banana with BIG nuts...hahaha...AND i finally got to ride on a ferris wheeeeeeel! it was so funny too..so there's 2 ferris wheels at the fair, the really huge one and this mini one..so we ride the huge one right? and i'm like awww this isn't the real kind of ferris wheel b/c it was like the compartment/gondola style ones..i thought it'd be like the movies, where your only protection is the bar, like a roller coaster..nonetheless (heheh i like that word) it was fun..too bad me & boyfriend didn't bring our cameras, so i had to settle for my cheesy camera phone pics..but still..yaaaaaay got to ride on the ferris wheel..

haha okay so we end up having leftover tickets..so we walk and walk and finally find a ride that we have enough tickets to..and for what? the other mini ferris wheel..and i was like, coooooool this is the real one..all rollercoaster seated out and all..so i'm all excited right..but dude once we started getting higher and hearing the creaking of the wheel it was scary. haha all that talk of me wanting to ride the real ferris wheel and here i am..i mean yah i still liked the view and all, but it's funny how your mindset changes when you know you don't have much protection from an old ride like that one. ah well still a fun time=)..we rode the potato sack one too..seems like they didn't make the lanes so slippery cuz we all felt slow going down the ride..boo that's the funnest one too!

anyways..fast forward..went to maitai's last night to celebrate mr-hoban's bday..man, i think that was my first night going out out on a work night..haha work night..it was mucho fun..especially the happy hour drinks=P..but man, so hard to hang, on "kick-it night thursdays"..i'm soooooo sleepy today. funny too, when we were walking to the car and passed by v2o i was like, dang it's crowded on a weekday..and i'm like, oh yah it's kick it night thursdays..ahhh i remember those days..when our mentality back at uci was that school ended on thursday, haha regardless if you had class on friday..those were the days my friend..

so here i am..it's friday, feeling the toll of the week on my shoulders=(..feeling so tired and lazy to do anything today..but i must..ehhhhhhh..but why, it's freaking friday...and the weekend is full of great things to come..why must i ruin that anticipation..haha..arghhh...hmmm..what else has been going on..oooooooooooooh me & boyfriend were japanese on wednesday! i cooked us unagi-don with miso soup..hehe..and we watched some anime. so fun. hehe no idea why i'm so curious of japanese culture. it's so cute and funny. so of course, seeing as how i was all proud of my first japanese made meal i took pics..and me being the old school one, has to wait til the film is finished..then i can finally post our cake pics too..how exciting right?=P

oh and before i forget..and before winnie emails me again to remind y'all...save the date..eurotrip fall '07..tentatively october..but depending on researching the weather conditions..times may change..so if you're interesado, email me won't you?=) happy friday! oh an apologies to all the spanish freaks..i know i didn't use the word properly..hehe

oh how i love looking at fireworks. hehe even though we didn't go to a show or light our own this year, just the drive back to lou's house was fun enough for me. i swear my gaze must've shifted so many times from concentrating on the freeway to looking at the glow of all the fireworks popping in the air..so pretty..too bad we were moving to fast to see them..but still..always nice to look at. i think i like the ones that pop once in the air, and then pop one more time.. even bigger..like how a dandelion looks..ooh and if they sparkle too, even better!..lou was laughing at me cuz i kept stairing out the window while i was driving and even when we got to the house i wanted to watch some more on tv...maybe it just brings back the kid in me..who knows..hypnotizing they are.

you know what i don't get sometimes? what's the point in asking someone how to do something, if you're just going to ask a zillion other people the same thing..and you keep getting the same answer...i don't get it sometimes..haha, maybe it's b/c i'm a girl and they don't think i can answer on my own? oh well..don't believe me then=P...hehe that last sentence reminded me of beetlejuice for some reason. you know the jamaican/caribbean song at the very end of the movie.."okay i believe you." hahah high-larious!

ahhh so the weekend has come and gone..4 days just seemed so short. i was so freaking tired this morning..which is funny to me seeing as how the whole weekend i thought i was waking up early as it is..usually around 8-830..but today i had to be dragged out of bed..so sleepy..i'm pretty awake now i guess..still want to take a nap when i get home..but i want to look up some chicken recipes too..ahhh decisions decisions.

i missed the beach so much..we were able to go again this weekend..woohoo twice this time..first time at newport..bypassed all the crowds looking for parking..and i was able to cool off in the water..ahhh felt nice..hahah..not to mention the fact that after catching a wave on my board, the freaking white water crashed on my back and all of the sudden that "uh-oh" feeling came..i stood up and totally felt my top unfastening!!! luckily i was able to turn away from the shore towards the waves just as the whole thing unfastened and i grabbed it..ahhh..can i tell you, it's soooo hard to try to fasten your bikini top when you have the waves crashing against your tummy..not to mention a board strapped to your wrist so that your hand keeps getting pulled away b/c of the current...by the time boyfriend saw me, he was all excited about the waves and calling me over that i had to give him that mean look of mine just to get him to understand that i need HELP!! hahah...too funny man.

we tried newport again on monday, but maaaaaaaaaaan it was a madhouse just driving down balboa..so we opted for huntington, and this time i made sure that i had on a stringy top that i could double knot to prevent the fallen top from happening=P. i heard that the weather's suppose to cool down this weekend..hopefully it'll still be good beach weather though...ahhh..this shall be a golden summer...or bronzed?..hahah or maybe even chocolate!!! oooh and it's time for the oc fair...grilled corn..blooming onions...cotton candy...yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum!!!
