i've noticed that i have a lot of things planned out for next year..but not this year...like how i want to go to europe in summer 2005..how i've decided to rent an SUV limo for my 25th b-day to be spent in vegas cruising the strip=P...but what about this year...so far a cruise seems to be happening in march..my 24th birthday is in about 2 weeks..but i have no idea what i'm doing for that..maybe the same as last year..dinner before partying our asses off at corner office..maybe spend the following weekend in sd and checkout gaslamp w/ the buds..we'll see i guess..

so..i'm turning 24 soon..and i guess since my birthdays around the corner i've started to see the age difference between being born in 79 and being born in the 80's...haha i think this happens to me everytime my birthday comes up, i start to dwell on those good 'ol kiddie days..so yah, on saturday when ryan was checking the channels on tv, it happened to fall on channel 7 (??) and they were freakin showing re-runs of the LITTLES!!! remember that show?...those little human rat people?..w/ grandpa little, lucy, the aviator cousin and the little brother?..so me and ryan both yell.."the littles!!" and mel's friend goes.."what's that?"...hahahah..not that it's bad or anything..i just thought it was funny..i mean how can you have missed out on the littles!!!!!!!...man, the cartoons i grew up w/ can never top today's hi-tech computerized ones..i'd start watching those saturday morning cartoons again if they replayed voltron, she-ra, he-man, the smurfs, gummy bears, dennis the menace (yes, even though i really didn't like margaret!!), heathcliff & garfield back to back, hey hey hey "it's fat albert!", thunder thunder thunder...thundercats, some of the snorkels, heehee...my little pony, ooh and land of the lost!..the original one...not the corny one they came out w/ like 5 years ago, the abc special cartoons with captain..hmm i forgot his name..i think he was an orange cat?..or a black cat?...captain something...what else was there..man i know i'm forgetting soo many too...i remember on one of the abc special cartoons..there was one called OG i think?..where these 2 kids landed into this other world..i forgot..but i seem to be the only one who remembers it..

so yah...to be a kid in the 80's..gotta love it man..it's sad too...i asked my mom if we got a lot of trick or treaters..she said about 10..man..i remember going w/ herds of the neighborhood kids and getting so much candy...nowadays i guess it must be too scary to bring your kids out..i mean it's understandable..but is that really how bad society's gotten lately?..where's all the fun of being a kid?....hmm..how things have changed..kinda sucks for the kids of today though..would you trade all the indoor time you have with computer games/aim stuff of today if you could play all day outside and watch all those cool cartoons like we used to do?..hahah heck yah! i'd do it in an instant!
