dang dude, this week feels soooooo long...usually i'm excited about thursdays cuz that means it's almost friday..but today it's like..huh, it's only freaking thursday today?..ahhhh..maybe i'm just being impatient cuz i'm anxiously anticipating this weekend..why?..well, only b/c me & boyfriend are going to visit philly and eat us some authentic cheesesteaks like boyz II men & fresh prince do..mmm...and then i guess do some shopping and of course visit all of those historical sights..sure it may sound weird that out of all the places to go..we're going to philly..but for a quick 3-day trip, i think philly is a good place to explore and start the beginning of a traveling era..hehe..yeeha woohoooooey!=P
so this week i started my pre-training for the l.a. marathon..eek scary..i'm following this training schedule for beginners that's on the marathon site..and the training doesn't officially start until next sunday..so i figure i'll just run some now just to warm up and get used to it all..but man.. i have to able to go 5 miles next sunday..i've only worked up to 4 so far..hahah grreat..eww and my friend was telling me these marathon tips and stories from past runners..like how you should coat your feet with gobs of vaseline b/c by the time you reach the 13th mile, you're feet get sooo swollen..so i guess the vaseline suppose to act as a buffer to not let that happen? and i think also to prevent blisters and stuff..ewww and she also told me that afterwards the skin on you're feet might get all tore up and you're toe nails can fall off...yuck! but as she said..these are all typical things that happen after running 26.2 miles..nasty..but nonetheless i'll still try to run it..hehe..anyone else wanna join me & jovan strive for the finish line to reach our gold medal?=P c'mon, you know you want to!..muahahhaha..
