it's been awhile. it's the new year, yay happy new year!..ha, and it's already starting out to be full of craziness. typical right? hopefully things turn out okay in the end..if there's one thing i've learned and heard from so many other people..it's "CYA," Cover Your A$$! nice one huh? guess we all gotta learn the mantra someday.

so me & boyfriend found another show to get addicted to. heheh "everybody hates chris." dude that show is freaking high-larious! not to mention all the old school 80's music/references/lingo they show. and y'all know how much of an 80's child i am!! haha another must see. i'm trying to get him to bring some episodes along with "it's always sunny in philadelphia," to tahoe. dude we'll all be rolling with tummy aches from the laughter. and if you can't even laugh once during either show, then man..are we really friends? =P

dude, i'm having such a hard time training for the marathon this time around. it was going alright up until this past weekend when we did our 15-mile. man, all the pain in my knees that i felt after finishing in '05 just came back and haunted me the last 2 miles of saturday's run=(. i totally thought i had strengthened my knees after going to a pt last year and doing the stretches/exercises. but then again, i haven't done the exercises in over 6 months. so i guess i can't totally blame the knees, i didn't keep them strengthened enough..arghhhh. and since tahoe's this weekend we have to postpone the 16-mile run to the day we get back. ummm crazy? i think so. so sad. i think after this marathon i'm going to start getting into biking. hehe then i can do the duathlons and not put my knees through so much abuse in the future. just 2 more months..2 more months.

gosh, it's so hard to be on a budget. i never realized how much i used to spend on little frivolities. i realize this all the time now when i'm out and about and i want to get something. instead of the impulse shopper that i used to be, i have to really think about it and make sure i'd make the most out of that purchase. i can't be buying a pair of shoes..wear it once and have it sit there forever like i used to do. man, then things will really start piling up in the garage! and i don't think boyfriend will enjoy me stealing all of his shoe space since i already took most of the closet=P. ah the joys of becoming an adult, how our parents did it all..i have no idea!

i forgot if it was during christmas or new year's, but disney was having a marathon of the robin hood cartoon. man i used to always watch that movie on our vhs when i was a little kid! haha i love this one part when robin gets caught in the archery contest and everything is all craziness w/ all the animals running around. all the rhinos are in this tent running blindly and the stupid alligator/crocodile announcer guy starts saying "..attention everyone"..hahah end then he gets run over by the stampede!!! haha i remember always rewinding and playing it over and over and laughing so hard..you'd think i'd get over that scene..hehe but no. while watching it a few weekends ago i cracked up so hard and used the tivo to keep rewinding it back and forth..hahah dude it's funny! see i found the script..ahhhh that movie..one of my childhood favs.

speaking of disney movies..ehhhh i'm so truamatized of pinnochio..c'mon now, what little kid wants to see a little boy transform slowly into a donkey..ahhh not me! yah, there's my two cents. scary movie!! hehe.

woohoo today's my thursday..yeeha, tahoe here we come..i can't wait!!!
