If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep.

first off i want to say CONGRATULATIONS to ate and jason..hehe they just found out that they're going to be having a baby boy. hehe my dad is so happy too because he'll finally get a baby boy grandson after having 3 daughters=P. man, only more good things to come. we just had a baby shower for my younger cousin who is also expecting a baby boy! wow, going to be a baby filled year..bunch of youngins are going to be running around like crazy now! awww they're soooo cutie patoots!

ehhhhh..why does money need to be involved with everything! well almost everything. but man, there's things that i was hoping to do this year but won't be able to because of our budget for the year. there's just so much other stuff that i wish i could do to help out but i can't. ahhh just so hard..and to add to it even more, no traveling at all this year=(. whatta bummer! i'm totally going to make up for it next year though. come late july next year, i'll get my traveling itch out of the way. i should be grateful though for the places that i have been able to go to so far.

anyone have a craving for japanese shabu-shabu? we checked out this joint in little tokyo for lunch yesterday. i don't get why we've never gone before. it's like literally just a block away. but the wait is crazy! if you don't get in on the first lunch wave..be ready to wait 30mins to an hour. but for everything they give you, i think it's worth it value wise. i guess shabu-shabu becomes an acquired taste. i remember the first time i had it i thought it was so yuck and bland. then we went to japan and i think we just loved it for the fact that we were all tourists enjoying ourselves over there. so i guess yesterday it was kinda reminiscient for me. heheh..because they really do serve it pretty much how they did in ginza. mmm yum!

i'm really craving cream puffs right now. i think it's because the brother-in-law was talking about beard papa's last weekend..oooooh and now that i can eat fried foods again too, i was thinking of making beignets..sounds good...we'll see how it goes this weekend.

wow, BoB was such a good series! it totally got me into wikipedia'ing about wwII and all the members of easy company. such a good filler while we wait for heroes to start again next week...yatta! haha and i love me my entourage! lloyd freaking cracks me up. hahahaha, "i'm american chinese!"

damn this wrist of mine. it's been hurting a lot more lately. ahhhhh i hope my thumbs/wrists can hold out for 2 more weeks when i see the doctor! i keep forgetting to ice them like romeyshmoe recommended. arghh, must remember tonight!

boo poor sanjaya got booted off. no, i didn't expect him to win american idol. yes i think he did poorly in the finals! buuuut, i was a fan of his when he first tried out. i just wish that he wow'd everyone like he wow'd me & the judges during his tryout song. he kinda reminded me of camille a few seasons ago. like sanjaya, i totally rooted for camille after i saw her tryout bc if i remember right she did a lauryn hill song. and i was like, cool i haven't heard anyone do that song before. but the both of them just couldn't get out of their shells!..boo..oh well.

on a serious note though..my thoughts and prayers for the families suffering from the va tech tragedy...
