Prepare your mind to receive the best that life has to offer.
-Ernest Holmes

so it's been almost 2 months of being mahreed. gotta love it, it's fun. though there's been 2 recurring questions in almost every conversation i've had since being back. how does it feel to be married? are you pregnant/having babies soon? hahah it's kinda funny i guess. i'm glad to have the small talk, but once that attention turns to babies and people wanting to rub my belly..hahah umm no. sorry. not for a while. i can answer the questions now, so that strangers i meet on the street can somehow understand what's going on in my mind.

married life-different but not different (geez don't you love how girls can't give a straight answer sometimes?=P). i mean, you just get this different vibe, i dunno. like can you love someone more just from getting married? is that not normal? it's like all the qualities you already knew your significant other had and loved about them, just magnifies and you appreciate and love them that much more. not sure if i'm making sense. haha even just seeing how much fun hubby has wearing his ring..hahah, it's awesome. i'm a dork, yes and i comprehend things differently sometimes. but that's my simpleton take on it. and, we've still yet to understand the whole living alone deal. we have our roomie(s)-little sister is crashing with us for the summer. so i'm sure once it's just the two of us, things'll get even funner and we'll still be learning more about each other..nah mean?=P

babies. do we want to have them? yeah eventually. just right now, the mindset isn't there. there's barely enough time to just enjoy ourselves when we get home from work. i can't even imagine how little time we'd get after we have kids. i see how much time weston occupies with my sister and jason. and i know in the end, it's all worth it. but at this very moment, it's just not our time yet. haha, give us about 2-3 years, maybe the maternal feeling will kick in. i know my mom will go crazy cuz she wants more grandkids. ate wants weston to have more playmates. we will, in a few years..right now, we're enjoying being two selfish kids.=)

so okay, back to normal now. have i mentioned how much i love cheese. and salami..mmmmmm. so i've been enjoying wines more than usual, so good. we got a wine rack built in with the new dinner buffet and i like keeping it stocked up. 2 budget friendly and mmmsogood ones...black mountain pinot noir --thanks for introducing it kenny, and barefoot's moscato. while hubby drinks his beers w/ dinners, i've been enjoying me some vino. i wonder, does wine give wine bellies? ack, cuz i don't need that..haha i've been pigging out like crazy since the wedding. hahah.

so after we ran the nike human race, we were already talking about signing up again for the hb half. this time lou said he'd run it (haha though i think it's moreso bc he found out danny's running it so now he has a running partner). the runs not until february, but he wants to start pretrainig. i told him i'd start training in november, he said he'd start his pretraining this week. grrrrreat. and y'know, i'm competitive like that..so i've joined him on a couple of runs=P. go ahead, beat me in triathlons, that's your thing-hehe though i don't even do tri's, can't get myself to do the open swimming..hahah but man, i gotta beat you in a half! please? ha jk.

hubbylou celebrated his 2-9th bday last week. crazy, 29 already? he wanted it simple this year, so took him out to dinner. mmm maki zushi, we tried out their dinner boat this time opposed to our usual run of sushi and sashimi. such a good value! but i'm craving sashimi, so we gotta go back=). his parents..hmm am i suppose to say our parents now?..well anyways, they came by friday and we ate again and just talked about their recent europe trip and showed them wedding pics. yay their trip got us so excited for our italy trip and the eurotrip next year. yahooooozy!

okay so we've started watching j-doramas again. j-what? yeah, we're nerdy like that enjoying the japanese shows/dramas..get it dorama=drama? ha. they're so cute and funny. always inspires me to make us some japanese dinners. haha hope lou's not sick of it yet=P. but yeah, the latest one is set at a musical academy where they all play classical music. pretty good and it got me all into classical music again. haha i filled up my seeqpod at work with my classical tunage playlist. i think beethoven's moonlight sonata will always be my all time favorite. but bc of the show, gershwin's rhapsody in blue is climbing up there=).

alright i'm done. yay can't wait to see baby elijah this weekend!=P
