this was my quote for yesterday...and seeing as how so much has gone on in a span of less than a day..i'll leave the quote and my thoughts with it..but i would like to add one thing..that i don't think i'll ever understand the need for war..and i hope that this is not all done in vain..God Bless the soldiers protecting us and the innocent families being caught in crossfire...so i'm leaving tomorrow..woohoo i'm excited to see my family and have a little break from work..but with all that's been happening..it is a scary time to leave..i'm just praying we get there and return back here safely...so to make up for my leave of absence..i've been stuck with another week of overtime..geez it's soooooooooo draining..and i just found out that when i come back..more overtime...so to whoever said that city employees don't do any work...you are truly mistaken..and if you don't believe me..make a trip over to downtown..come and see how stressful it is here (especially with us preparing for any alert by the mayor)..and try not to fall on my fist...hahha cuz i'd like to have the pleasure of my fist falling on your face....okay harsh i know..it's just bitterness coming out...i really am i nice person..i promise=)!!...but yah..i heard that if we do go on alert..my work schedule may become on call 24 hours a day..so we'd all be working like 12-hour shifts...noon to midnight or midnight to noon..crazy huh??...well since i'm still new..i wouldn't be by myself..so i guess i'm on the bottom of the priority list..which is okay with me cuz that's sooooooooo much responsibility!..so that being said..i hope this war ends quickly and successfully!...time to get back to work....laterz..
