well..it's my first post of the new year...woohoo happy freaking 2005 y'all!!..i still can't believe that though..i remember when i used to hear prince's 1999 as a kid, thinking man that's soooo far away..we'll be in flying cars by then..then '99 rolled by haha..and now it's '05..times are changing..but mostly for the good..this should be a good year..we've got mammoth...my sister's wedding-uhhh open bar yo!!haha...the l.a. marathon...ahhhh i'm taking this freaking p.e. exam...and hopefully chicago & japan goes through..

you know..my new year's resolution this year it to stop using my 2 credit cards..well i was suppose to have done that a long time ago..but this time i'm serious..it's all cash from now on man..haha i think the eye opener came when i woke up saturday morning and saw my closing tab total from new year's..hahahhahah...besides my tummy spinning from all the alki..this made my head spin...=P...but it's cool..i had sooooooo much fun on new year's that it was all worth it!! i'm sure i'd do it again too..well..not until next year though=)..that's an okay resolution i think? it'll help me become less materialistic about things that i would think i needed and end up charging it..and hopefully it'll help me realize how good i have it already compared to others in worse situations..which brings me to another topic..

i was listening to kbig this morning and they played U2's tribute song to the tsunami victims..you know the one's where they put inserts of quotes from the actual surviving victims and quotes from news reporters..it seriously brought tears to my eyes..but no crying happened..cuz i was in the car w/ my dad and he'd probably tease me about crying..but seriously, i mean..you hear this little girl at the end who was separated from her parents saying that she's fine..and that she'll be waiting for them to get her..soooooooooooo sad!..so yah, i really want to make a donation to one of the foundations..and if any of you have anything to give..please do!..i'm sure every little bit counts.
