What does not kill me makes me stronger.
-Friedrich Nietzsche

haha man, i think karma caught up to me yesterday=P. so i kept teasing boyfriend how i waited with him to finish the half marathon b/c i wanted to finish together. but that i still had all this energy that i felt like i wanted to sprint the last 2 miles. and how he kept saying he need to drink more during the run and i kept saying, really? but i drank less than you and i'm fine! so yah, all that rubbing it in must've caused bad karma..hehe b/c you'd figure i'd know by now how much fluids my body needed. i guess i didn't want to cramp up w/ all the sugars. so i paid for it on monday b/c i was suffering from dehydration=/. well at least i thought so. i felt like a zombie at work. soooooooo tired, headaches, light-headed, yada yada. so i stayed home yesterday=). felt nice to just unwind and try to relax. i say try because as much as i wanted to sleep in my body doesn't understand how to sleep in anymore..haha boo, i don't think 730 is sleeping in. ah, what happened to the good old days of being able to sleep til like 10 or 11=).

so yah, i am proud of everyone for doing the run on sunday! happy belated birthday winnie!..see we put ourselves through all that just for you! haha. but yeah, good job everyone. and yay boyfriend for perservering and finishing with a good time!!! haha even though my rocky renditions and motivational speeches were not what you wanted to hear at the time. it was pretty cool though running through disneyland, california adventure and angel stadium. seeing the flames they had going on at the starting line. the main street band and everyone cheering you on. all the people dressed up as disney characters doing the run. umm with the exception of the asian guy dressed as tinkerbell. haha. the nike run on sunday should be pretty fun too. c'mon who doesn't want to see vanilla ice? woohoo, and we get to see de la soul. yahoo!

you know, i've always thought of myself as switzerland. hehe if that makes any sense. i wonder if that's always a good way to approach things though.
