If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice.
-Meister Eckhart

and i'm back. konichiwa biznatches=). so much has happened that i have no idea where to begin. let's see we finally moved in, went to japan, celebrated my 27th birthday and have been trying to adjust back to work in the last week. so i'll start from the beginning, though this post may be a doozy!

yay we moved in! we got to spend our first night at the house the night before we left for japan. haha thanks cat for being such a good sport about sleeping on our makeshift sleeping bag bed on the ground for you=P. there were boxes everywhere and we had a couch made of bedsheets and a coffee table made out of a cool box! i swear we need to use all these boxes and make the fort i was talking about once the loft is cleared. that would be freaking sweet, no?

then we left for japan! oct.31st-nov.9, such a wonderful vacation. there's just too much that i can say and this post would never end..so what better way then to show you through pictures=).

Chiz-u!
everyone say chiz-u!

Gojo Tenjin Shrine - Ueno Park
i loved all the torii gates!!

Uhh where are we?
being that transportation is my field..haha i hate to admit it but we did get lost a few times...when pk-chan was our tour guide!!!! jk sherwin!

Ginza District
but we found our way to ginza!

Shabu-shabu!
and ate us some good shabu-shabu. although we didn't know there was a specific order to what we cooked and we ended up picking up food at a nearby bento box to-go place cuz we were still hungry=)

Akihabara
akihabara, aka..akiba, aka..the electronics district

Omote-sando
check out their crazy department stores! soooo many little boutiques shops and fancy schmancy stores!

japan was freaking awesome, and i'm glad i went with such a great group of friends! we kanpai'd like every night, ate and got fatsos, got nekked..well same sex nekked at the onsen=P, got lost at least once a day=), had crazy laughs, tried out new and exotic looking sushi!, became the back of the bus riders!, the young ones, the photo crazy kids, the jumpers...*sigh* i could go on and on..for now i'll keep the memories with me. thanks y'alls for such a memorable and crazy vacation!!!

let's see..lou and me also got to have a little mini-housewarming with the friends. the place is still in need of some cleanup, but we're slowly getting there. haha too bad our rug is shedding like crazy right now. i started to call our rug the cat and our new vacuum is the dog. and if you know how much i don't like cats, you'd know how crazy this shedding rug is making me. just need to break it in a bit more! and we got our first weekend house guests=). yay to jenn, cesar & romeyshmoe for being such fun houseguests. though i think the doc may have left some funky stench on our couch..jk jk jk!=) i kid. so y'all come back now y'hear?=P

we also celebrated my birthday..that's right, i've graced this earth for 27 years and counting. do i feel old? not really, i'm sure there's ppl way younger than me who act and look older than me. i guess the older you get you slowly start to have a more mature outlook on life in general, yet you still feel like a kid. make sense? i dunno. i just can't believe that i'm already 27, crazy how fast the years seem to go after you hit a certain age. for some reason i think it was after i turned 23 that i'd forget how old i am=P. oh well, as long as i'm content with life and am thankful for all that i've been blessed with i should be okay=).

so yah, we celebrated the bday by playing some flag football, bbq'ing, and pinata'ing at the park nearby. let me tell you..it was suuuuuuper fun! thanks boyfriend for planning it and thanks to my wonderful friends for coming over and for all the little house trinkets!. and yes yes although our team (the red team) lost, it was still one of the best times EVER! haha we were all running in different directions, the guys calling out plays that made all the girls go "huh?", freaking sake bombing after scoring a touchdown. yeah i can see now why the blue team let us score so easily in the beginning. had to have been a strategy to make us all drunk and bloated throughout the rest of the game! hehe. we must play again. i mean c'mon, we've got a bunch of flags that need to be put to use now!!!!

sunday was familia time. we were suppose to out for some japanese but we all got lazy and ended up bringing some thai food back to the house. pretty cool catching up with everything. the best part? the nintendo Wii that my little sister got. she's so crazy, first she stands in line for 40 hours to get the ps3..sells it..and then gets the Wii. But let me tell you, that sucker is fuuuuun! I love the ineractive boxing and tennis. it's tiring though. It was funny seeing my parents play too, our whole family go into it. I don't think I've seen my parents this into video games since the original nintendo came out and we were playing Track & Field on that game pad. Ahhh, good times indeed.

so we're trying to get adjusted to orange county life again. taking the train isn't as bad as i thought. i get to sleep to and from work. my one weakness is making sure that i'm awake when i get to my stop. i have a bad habit of wanting to sleep the whole way through. and it caught up to me on friday when i missed my train stop and had to call boyfriend to pick me up...haha..oops, thanks! slowly getting the house looking the way we imagined..we'll see how much longer that'll take us..pretty much got the living room and kitchen in order. finally started cooking in the kitchen. haha i get so paranoid that it'll get all messy and stuff so i make sure i clean the oven area right away..and then i smile at the pretty kitchen again..haha i'm weird i know!

and yay our friends are nearby again. it was fun watching heroes last night with everyone. gosh, imagine the lost night and office night!..muahahah, can't wait!

man, i better stop.. or this'll go on forever. have a great thanksgiving everyone! careful to all those driving far for the holiday weekend! and make sure to eat lots and lots of good home cooked food=), cuz you know this little piggy will!!
