wow, i can't believe 2009 is already coming to an end! it was filled with so many memories that i am really sad to see it go. i want to remember 2009 with a reflections of things achieved/accomplished/experienced:

-hubby and i celebrated our first wedding anniversary with a trip to mendocino...LOVED it! so relaxing and romantical=). such a nice getaway with super fun side trips=). so awesome being married!!!!

-had the pleasure to witness many of our friends tie the knot this year.

-my nephews wyatt & ryder were born, and good friends of ours had their first baby girl audrey

-heard the good news of more babies to come next year! yeah yeah, we know..we're starting the baby planning now..hahhaa

-was blessed to be able to travel to europe again, this time joining hubs and i were 11 of our friends. gallivanted around england, switzerland, amsterdam, austria, germany, italy/vatican city, & france. so many good times that i will always relive the memories through our stories and numerous pictures.

-competed in the first ever los angeles ragnar relay with 11 compadres. ran from santa barbara to dana point (but had a slight detour in malibu) instead of 188 miles, we went for 155.2..not bad!

-ran the oc half marathon in may..woohoo under 2:15:00!

-lakers won the nba world championship with kobe as MVP! celebrated with them lakers at the coliseum=)

-celebrated the year when many of us turned the big 3-0! ha, 30's are the new 20's right?

-annual belle bowll IV, we won..yahoo!

-little sister graduated from college..dang, i feel old=P

-went to hawaii (maui & oahu) with good friends to witness 2 of our friends get married

-heard the news of more engaged couples of 2010, congrats y'alls!

-went to NYC for the first time! good times with good friends. ahhhh will always remember eating at Eric Ripert's Le Bernardin..boo but not getting to see him..hahah. loved this trip so so much that i can't wait to go back.

-was affected by the recession of '09..boo on furloughs...but glad & lucky to have a job still.

-woohoo, hubs and i got to experience our first NFL football game with our favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts. awesome to visit Indy and be surrounded by fans like us. got to witness the colts go 13-0 that day and see them break so many NFL records!

-first year we spent christmas up north with hubby's family. i love being surrounded by family, so fun!

-got to see so many musicals thanks to our good friends k & j...loved avenue q & spring awakening the most!

-saw jason mraz in concert @ the cricket amphitheater..thanks j&c!

-was able to go to another of the hubs' annual camping trips at clear lake.
(july was one busy month of traveling! actually december too...never a weekend free, but all worth it!)

-was able to celebrate our own halloween oktoberfest..proooost biznatches!

-unfortunately still had to deal with family drama..hopefully 2010 looks brighter.

-grateful that we are blessed with having dad around after last year's scare!

-heehee cooked my first turkey!

-experienced NPH's accomplice show in hollywood..hahah so many good laughs

-got spoiled from a wedding gift and had our very own annual passes to disneyland. aww soooo fun seeing disney all dressed up for valentine's, halloween, & christmas.

-realized how much i've missed running...being without it the past 3 months! here's to the hb half next february.

-had my first bloody mary drink..so weird tasting, but not so bad.

-humbled by the hurricanes that affected our families in the p.i. so glad that they are all okay though.

-saw the rise of MANNY!

oh my gosh..i think i can just keep going and going. this year was seriously one of the best. i'm so grateful for all the blessings that we've been given. i know i take some things for granted...but looking back at all that's happened..i can't say that i regret any of it. i'm so lucky to be surrounded by such an awesome and loving husband, a crazy yet close knit family, and really good friends who just keep me laughing.

cheers to 2009 and here's looking forward to 2010!
