oh my goooooooooosh i feel so horrible right now. i just went to the cafeteria downstairs to buy some soup and i saw this old man walking right towards me as i was looking at the choices. he totally bumps into me, like his fist nudges me at my jacket pocket area. i'm thinking "freaking rude ass!" but he does apologize and walks away. then i think it's b/c earlier me & my co-worker were talking about the gypsies in europe that i quickly check my pocket, hehe cuz that's where my lunch money was. money is there, so my tummy will be happy. then i see the guy walking into the back and i'm like, ohhhh he works here and he's putting out the daily specials. then as we're in line to pay, that same guy goes to help out one of the cashiers and starts a new line. so as the guy in front of me switches lines to him i'm wondering why the old man keeps looking upwards and punching into the register all slow. and it's not til i hear him telling the guy to pay what is on the screen, that i realize the old man is blind. i'm mean. i felt so bad. i was like ohhhhhhhh that's why he ran into me. i felt so bad. sorry mr. worker man.=/
there is this other guy who works in our building that is blind. it freaks me out when i see him crossing the busy streets of downtown or walking on the uneven sidewalks. sometimes i just want to pull him to safety or just take his hand and cross the street with him ( you know like in amelie when she does that to the old man and describes the whole actions of the neighborhood to him?). but yah, someone told me that's probably not the nicest thing to do b/c some people take it offensively. so okay, nix that thought.
hmm so i haven't blogged so much. not that i was really good at keeping it up regularly as it is anyways. i'll think, oh i want to blog that..hehe then i just get lazy. so here i am. trying to empty out my thoughts. mmm so gail & kirun took me out to dinner last week for a belated bday. we went to lucca cafe in irvine. it's like a tapas style place where you order a bunch of dishes and share it. man soooooooo good, but so bad. we kept wanting to try everything! thank you ladies again=). my co-workers even surprised me last week with a cake and lunch. man and i was trying to keep my bday under raps from them b/c it's just another day of the year=P. but mmm kings hawaiian is always good.
so i'm trying to get used to saying "hey come over to our place!" it just sounds so strange to me. not that i've never said it before about the other places i've lived at, it's just weird to say it when it IS actually your place. ehhh i dunno. probably just me. so we're slowly getting things together. still have lots of unpacking and reorganizing to do. but if you're ever in the area, then hey come over to our place=). ooooh and we can play some wii! that thing is freaking awesome. thank you nintendo for bringing back the kid in me. hehe.
i'm starting to get into the christmas mood. hehe i know it should've already kicked in like after thanksgiving right? but i really want to get a christmas tree! i had to argue my reasons to boyfriend about why we should get a real christmas tree vs. a fake one. at least for this year!!! now, if i can just convince him to maintain it too..muahahhaha...jk! i think i want to go to michael's or joanns or something and get some decorations. yay should be fun!
this weekend was only the 2nd shockers game that i was able to play in. and man, i freaking got worked dude. i played center field so that we could spread out the guys to help in the outfield. gosh, i think once the other team realized that i was a girl they knew to hit to me. me & joe got a workout running after those hits. not to mention the strong wind making the ball go even farther. ha, but the best had to be when the ball bounced out of the field and into the neighborhood hitting one of the cars parked on the street. it just hit i think either the tire or the bumper but the alarm started going off and the dogs started barking. me & joe were like...uhhh we're not getting that one, sorry! hahaha. boo and i have this huge bruise/welt on my shin in my attempt to field a grounder. it was one of those ones that's going straight to you, then takes a jump in the other direction b/c of the uneven grass..baaaaaaaah. and then i tweaked my left ankle when i ran to first base and tapped my foot on the base. it's not so bad now, just hurts a bit when i rotate the ankle. oh well. last game this sunday against that same team. psshh maybe this time we can moonwalk on their home plate! suckers!!! that is so mean. ahhh the joys of the game=).
freaking a, i'm out of shape. training this year is going to be crazy. and heroes. why must i have to wait another month. ahhhhhhhh!

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice.

and i'm back. konichiwa biznatches=). so much has happened that i have no idea where to begin. let's see we finally moved in, went to japan, celebrated my 27th birthday and have been trying to adjust back to work in the last week. so i'll start from the beginning, though this post may be a doozy!
yay we moved in! we got to spend our first night at the house the night before we left for japan. haha thanks cat for being such a good sport about sleeping on our makeshift sleeping bag bed on the ground for you=P. there were boxes everywhere and we had a couch made of bedsheets and a coffee table made out of a cool box! i swear we need to use all these boxes and make the fort i was talking about once the loft is cleared. that would be freaking sweet, no?
then we left for japan! oct.31st-nov.9, such a wonderful vacation. there's just too much that i can say and this post would never end..so what better way then to show you through pictures=).

everyone say chiz-u!

i loved all the torii gates!!

being that transportation is my field..haha i hate to admit it but we did get lost a few times...when pk-chan was our tour guide!!!! jk sherwin!

but we found our way to ginza!

and ate us some good shabu-shabu. although we didn't know there was a specific order to what we cooked and we ended up picking up food at a nearby bento box to-go place cuz we were still hungry=)

japan was freaking awesome, and i'm glad i went with such a great group of friends! we kanpai'd like every night, ate and got fatsos, got nekked..well same sex nekked at the onsen=P, got lost at least once a day=), had crazy laughs, tried out new and exotic looking sushi!, became the back of the bus riders!, the young ones, the photo crazy kids, the jumpers...*sigh* i could go on and on..for now i'll keep the memories with me. thanks y'alls for such a memorable and crazy vacation!!!
let's see..lou and me also got to have a little mini-housewarming with the friends. the place is still in need of some cleanup, but we're slowly getting there. haha too bad our rug is shedding like crazy right now. i started to call our rug the cat and our new vacuum is the dog. and if you know how much i don't like cats, you'd know how crazy this shedding rug is making me. just need to break it in a bit more! and we got our first weekend house guests=). yay to jenn, cesar & romeyshmoe for being such fun houseguests. though i think the doc may have left some funky stench on our couch..jk jk jk!=) i kid. so y'all come back now y'hear?=P
we also celebrated my birthday..that's right, i've graced this earth for 27 years and counting. do i feel old? not really, i'm sure there's ppl way younger than me who act and look older than me. i guess the older you get you slowly start to have a more mature outlook on life in general, yet you still feel like a kid. make sense? i dunno. i just can't believe that i'm already 27, crazy how fast the years seem to go after you hit a certain age. for some reason i think it was after i turned 23 that i'd forget how old i am=P. oh well, as long as i'm content with life and am thankful for all that i've been blessed with i should be okay=).
so yah, we celebrated the bday by playing some flag football, bbq'ing, and pinata'ing at the park nearby. let me tell you..it was suuuuuuper fun! thanks boyfriend for planning it and thanks to my wonderful friends for coming over and for all the little house trinkets!. and yes yes although our team (the red team) lost, it was still one of the best times EVER! haha we were all running in different directions, the guys calling out plays that made all the girls go "huh?", freaking sake bombing after scoring a touchdown. yeah i can see now why the blue team let us score so easily in the beginning. had to have been a strategy to make us all drunk and bloated throughout the rest of the game! hehe. we must play again. i mean c'mon, we've got a bunch of flags that need to be put to use now!!!!
sunday was familia time. we were suppose to out for some japanese but we all got lazy and ended up bringing some thai food back to the house. pretty cool catching up with everything. the best part? the nintendo Wii that my little sister got. she's so crazy, first she stands in line for 40 hours to get the ps3..sells it..and then gets the Wii. But let me tell you, that sucker is fuuuuun! I love the ineractive boxing and tennis. it's tiring though. It was funny seeing my parents play too, our whole family go into it. I don't think I've seen my parents this into video games since the original nintendo came out and we were playing Track & Field on that game pad. Ahhh, good times indeed.
so we're trying to get adjusted to orange county life again. taking the train isn't as bad as i thought. i get to sleep to and from work. my one weakness is making sure that i'm awake when i get to my stop. i have a bad habit of wanting to sleep the whole way through. and it caught up to me on friday when i missed my train stop and had to call boyfriend to pick me up...haha..oops, thanks! slowly getting the house looking the way we imagined..we'll see how much longer that'll take us..pretty much got the living room and kitchen in order. finally started cooking in the kitchen. haha i get so paranoid that it'll get all messy and stuff so i make sure i clean the oven area right away..and then i smile at the pretty kitchen again..haha i'm weird i know!
and yay our friends are nearby again. it was fun watching heroes last night with everyone. gosh, imagine the lost night and office night!..muahahah, can't wait!
man, i better stop.. or this'll go on forever. have a great thanksgiving everyone! careful to all those driving far for the holiday weekend! and make sure to eat lots and lots of good home cooked food=), cuz you know this little piggy will!!

i'm blogging on a sunday night. i don't remember the last time i've blogged and it wasn't at work..ha! guess i figure i better finish all my projects before i go on this much needed vacay!=). i'm still in shock about everything that's been going on. i don't think it's totally sunk in yet, but it's so cool!
it's 930. this whole day was just really... awesome. said my goodbyes to #35. that went by so fast! spent time with the familia today, which actually turned out better than i was expecting. heard some funny stories from father pat. watched the colts in a heart beating game. remembered that i need to put all my clothes in the luggage. and realized how blessed i am for everything. even though fri/sat didn't go so well. i had to remember that there are other things going on in life that i have to smile about. so being able to see my friends last night for some laughs and yummy irish car bombs and then spending some qt time with the family today was refreshing, to say the least. i'm not much of a mush, but this weekend was just what i needed.
so to all my family and friends..haha especially boyfriend. apologies if i was a bit moody these past couple of weeks. with all the things going on i was very distracted and could never fully concentrate on one thing. but of course, things turned out as they should and i was a worry monger for no reason=P. y'all are the best!
yay and now i have the house and japan to look forward too! i can't believe it still. and dude i can't believe we leave in less than 2 days. yahoooooooozy..i'm ready to indulge and be lost in translation! ahh, love that movie! sake, sashimi, onsen, hiro..here we come! yatta!..haha dorky i know=P. saaaaaaaaaaayonara! *bows* hahah.

It is not true that nice guys finish last. Nice guys are winners before the game ever starts.

dude so i had the freaking bejeezus scared out of me this morning! so usually after i'm done getting ready for work i make sure to keep the bathroom light on so that i can turn on the kitchen light. why? b/c i'm a chicken manok and our apartment is freaking dark in the morning. but this morning i forgot to leave the light on after i used the bathroom so as i was turning of the light in my room i was getting ready to walk real fast to the kitchen. so i proceed as planned, haha already paranoid about it being all dark ( i have a very WILD imagination and have been traumatized by scary movies since i was like 5 years old!).
so right when i turn on the kitchen light i hear a guy voice saying "hello." at which point i'm kind of startled b/c i know it's only me up, but then i remembered that jay slept over so maybe he had to wake up early for work? so i turn around expecting to see jay in the hall or something, except that i see NO ONE! so now i'm really starting to think i'm going crazy. like i'm having a locke/jack moment where i'm hearing things. so i look around thinking c'mon jay, where are you! and then i hear some rustling by the coffee table and realize that it was freaking GLENN!
apparently they were out late yesterday so last minute glenn crashed at our place. hahah man, i was soooooooooooooooooooo scared! i kept saying, man you freaked me out! so yah..that was me this morning.
so let's see..in the past 5/7 days i've had shots of expresso while studying. either in that new pumpkin latte that tinz swears by or in hot chocolate. mind you, i'm not much of a coffee drinker but i've been trying to stay somewhat awake while studying. too bad all my tea is decaf and i think i've exhausted drinking chai tea latte's everytime i go somewhere to study..so yah, that's where the expresso came in. hehe. why is it that you're so awake doing other things, then once you crack open a book you get all sleepy! grrreat, so i just talked to my coffee addicted little sister about my splurge on expresso. and she told me not to make it too much of a habit b/c it'll eventually burn me out and i'll get the opposite effect and start getting sleepy..one more week..just one more week!
i need a massage. and a haircut. and i want sashimi. and chocolate..mmm.

it's kinda funny how things are so scrutinized lately. listening to kevin and bean talking about "freak" dancing..hahah that's sounds so ugly! i can't believe it went all the way to this. can you imagine your principal video taping you while your freaking someone and then publicly showing it to all the parents? or going to a school dance with all the lights turned on? man..what's the point then..haha. if you know me, you know that i looooooooooooove the booty shaking music..haha it's just fun i guess. and what's even funnier was the summer after freshman year? or was it spring quarter? can't remember..but i do know that a bunch of us went to the arena..yes, arena folks..when it was the in thing to do..haha..ahh thanks to the wonders of google i was able to find it..she performed at rewind, on October 15th, 1998..wow true fans who remembered all the songs that night and even what she wore..crazy! or stalkers?=P..heheh
anyways, i think it was me & the girlies..cuz we wanted to see tamia..and we ended up seeing lou, romeo & amy there. haha and somehow me & lou got to dancing and he was getting all freaky deaky. and then...AND THEN...he has the nerve to say "you don't like to freak huh?"..hahahaha..which was sooooooooo ironic, b/c if he knew me better back then..he would've known=P..and me being the girl i am..was sooooooooo turned off by that..that i think i must've turned into the side to side step dancing, wandering eye partner..and then i "had to go to the bathroom" or some mumbo jumbo like that...muahaha...luv you boyfriend!=)..now he knows better..hahah..haha..hahah. sorry, you know i love teasing you about that!!!!
so i'm really diggin' snow patrol and getting freaking crazy laughs watching it's always sunny in philadelphia. man, that's a must see my friends. the things they get away with on that show. high-larious! makes me want to open a bar someday..haha.
man, i can't believe only like 1 more week in the apartment. it's crazy. i've been trying to pack little by little so that next weekend isn't too hectic. that one year went by really fast though. man, and we still never got to hang out on main street or get fosselman's!
lot's to do. need to take it one day at a time...

so i didn't even realize it was friday the 13th until listening to kevin and bean this morning. i didn't really think anything weird would happen today but i'll tell my boring story anyways. so me & my boss were trying to compile this file at work. and for some reason there was an error and it kept deleting a plan. what plan number was it? 13! and the name of the file was..blahblah 76. to which my boss pointed out was 7 + 6 = 13! coincidence? maybe. haha just thought it was funny.
yay it's friday. too bad it looks like it's going to rain this weekend. but i'll be indoors for the most part so i guess that's alright. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh such a busy month. i know i keep saying that, but it really is. so far though everything seems to be working out okay. i just wish i could be more focused on some things more than others. oh well. a la joe almighty: that's the way the cookie crumbles. haha
i've been enjoying heroes/the office/studio 60 lately. lost hasn't caught me yet. boo what happened. maybe i was expecting too much this season? we'll see, i'm sure they're just trying to bait us in=P. and stupid deal or no deal has to come on after the office. i just use it as background noise when it comes on but i tend to end up watching it instead of solving problems. i mean c'mon..what's the appeal to watching someone open briefcases? guilty pleasure i guess. it's so funny though how unskilled this game is, yet it's so suspenseful. and i'm kind of curious to that new show tonight, 1 vs. 100 i think it's called? i know bob saget is the host. and after watching him do a 180 in entourage as opposed to full house, i'm a bit curious to see if he'll be all cheesy again. and plus i'd like to see if i can answer any of those questions..haha..cuz y'know, i only feel smart when i can answer jeopardy questions. and usually it's the little kid challenge ones..ha!
so who wants to have some fun the last weekend in october? c'mon! it's the new fad. instead of going out, you move boxes=). and maybe some other trinkets here or there. hehe..i'll buy you a beer? or a smirnoff? take your pick! hehe.
i need to have some free time soon. can't wait for japan. my sister's in italy right now with her husband. lucky! i'd like to take some pictures. haven't done so in a while. and my flickr looks so blah lately.
so i think i'm allergic to these. i know i don't like mushrooms and i never knew what this was until yesterday. i was eating ramen for lunch and i had this in my soup. when i asked my co-worker what it was he said it's wood ear, it's a fungus..eww gross name right? so i'm like, is it a mushroom? b/c i don't like mushrooms and he's all no it's a fungus it's the stuff they put in hot and sour soup. and i'm like mmmmmmm okay i like hot and sour soup. so i proceed to eat the wood ear. and like 5 minutes later my cheeks start to feel numb. and i'm like hmm, the last time i had this feeling was when i had hot and sour soup at mayflower (this soup/chinese food place in chinatown) but i didn't think it was b/c of the wood ear stuff. so now i think i'm allergic or something? i don't sneeze or anything. just my cheeks get this numb feeling, but then it goes back to normal. and then i searched about it today and find out it's a mushroom? ewwwwwwww. but i still like the hot and sour soup. regardless of the wood ear..yum that sounds good right now.
i want to go shopping. i know i can't. but i really want to for some reason=).

If you don't learn to laugh at troubles, you won't have anything to laugh at when you grow old.

sometimes i wonder if i've reused the same quotes..ha i probably have. so i used to have a classmate with the last name howe. it was so funny, him & some of his brothers were named after characters/things in the lotr/hobbit series. i didn't see the connection until i finished all the books. i always thought his mom was a bit eccentric..very cool, but verrrrry eccentric.
so all day today the guy in the next cube over has been plotting some graphs. and i think it needs some wd-40 or something because it sounds extremely squeaky. okay well pretty much like that eeeh-uhh-eeeeh-uhhh bouncing bed noise. i wanna laugh but it's so freaking quiet over here.
my eyes are dry. i've been wearing my contacts this whole week b/c i'm sick. don't think that made sense so i'll explain. for some reason if i have a cold and i'm wearing my eyeglasses, it feels like my sinuses get clogged faster (if that's even possible) and i have to blow my nose a lot. i dunno it just feels like a blehhh feeling, so since i had a cold this week i opted to wear my contacts. it was going okay for the most part. but yesterday and today my eyes started to get really dry. maybe it's time to change the pair out? bah. but it makes things blurry sometimes.
so me & boyfriend were talking..via email..hehe..today and we decided that we're going to make a video. and no, not that kind of video guys! but a funny one. well funny to me, action to boyfriend i guess? well we'll see. it seems cool, so hopefully we have time to do it next month..woohoo.
oooh and guess what? we decided that one of the first things we're going to do in the house is build a fort. pretty cool eh? yah you love it! hahah..a freaking fort. that'd be nice. i even planned out where and how i'd set mine up. hmm i just realized how dorky that sounds. but duuuuuuuuude i used to always do that as a kid at home. wanna know something gross though? i remember i built one in the corner of my living room. i was probably like 5 or 6. i stashed EVERYTHING in there, cuz it was my hideout yo! and i think okay well i was told, that we had a country mouse in our house..and it lived in my fort while i was away. so my parents had to take it down. booooo. but ewwwwww at the same time.
thank goodness it's friday. this week feels long. but i can't believe how fast it seems october is going. man, so much is happening this month it's unbelievable. i wish i could just scream right now. haha that'd be a good one.
i really don't like shady people. specifically those you have to do business with. geez, i don't think i could have the conscience to have that kind of a job.
i realize today i'm full of random thoughts. i think it exemplifies my current state of mind. and i was reminded again how slow i am to understand jokes/sayings. boo on that! i thought talking fast meant my mind processed things faster? hahah.
